A lagoon, complete with geese and Koi fish, is the backdrop to this Irvine California townhouse.  Starting with a dynamic multi-level floor plan and utilizing the large windows we were able to brighten up the interior by opening the space removing unnecessary walls, installing oak floors, updating the layout and finishes throughout.  Contrast was added to the restrooms and entry with a dark grey paint and basalt herringbone tile allowing for a modern feel to the design.  Having lived in Beijing for 8 years and being Taiwanese themselves, the client brought a lot of their culture to the project furniture and accessories.   This juxtaposition brings about a playful yet culturally unique interior
